The Hotel
What's included in the room rate?
Accommodation with breakfast, access to the gym and workout classes, as well as the spa area.
Do you have room service?
Yes – during restaurant opening hours.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 3 PM every day. Check-out on weekdays is at 10 AM (conference guests) and 12 PM (private guests), on Saturday at 11 AM, and on Sunday at 12 PM. Late check-out (2 PM) can be booked. See different times during holidays on the page opening hours.
Is there free Wi-Fi at the hotel?
Yes.
Is it allowed to bring a dog to the hotel?
It is not allowed to bring a dog into the common areas of the hotel, but we have designated rooms that can be used if you are bringing a dog (for an additional fee).
Is the hotel adapted for disabled guests?
We have specially adapted rooms for disabled guests, and the entire hotel is generally disability-friendly. The ground floor of the spa area is accessible without stairs (please contact reception). To reach the 2nd floor of the spa, the elevator in the hotel section must be used.
What is the dress code at the hotel?
We do not have a dress code at the hotel, but we have our own spa and gym etiquette. It is perfectly fine to have lunch in your bathrobe.
Is it allowed to have open flames in the rooms?
It is not allowed to have open flames in the room, for example candles.
Spa
Can we bring children to the spa?
We have a minimum age limit of 16 in the spa.
What to Wear in the Spa Area?
Swimsuit and bathrobe, along with slippers. You can put on the bathrobe in your hotel room before going down to the spa area.
Can you bring your own bathrobe and swimsuit?
Bring your own swimsuit or purchase one at the spa shop. Bathrobe and slippers are provided in the room.
What are the spa department's opening hours?
The spa department is open from 07:00 to 21:00 on Sun-Thu and 07:00 to 23:00 on Fri-Sat.
Transport & Local Area
How do I get to the hotel?
The easiest way to get here is by car. If you take the train from Oslo to Sonsveien station, we recommend pre-booking a taxi for the final leg to the hotel. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Norittveien and walk from there (about 10 minutes). The airport bus from Gardermoen to Sonsveien station takes an hour and ten minutes. In the summer, you can take a scheduled boat from Aker Brygge to Son.
Are there beaches near the hotel?
The hotel is located halfway between Son's two finest beaches, Skutebaugen sandy beach and Sons beach with rocks and diving tower.
How far is it to Oslo Fashion Outlet?
It's a ten-minute drive.
How to get from the hotel to Son city center?
It's a ten-minute leisurely walk along the beach or road to Son's idyllic city center with cafes, galleries, shops, and the coastal culture center.
Is there parking at the hotel – and is it included in the price?
There is a paid indoor parking at the hotel. Can be paid with the EasyPark app.
Do you have charging stations for electric cars?
We have 8 spaces for electric cars in front of the hotel and 7 chargers in the garage.
Are there any golf courses nearby?
Yes, a nine-hole course about two kilometers away, as well as Evje golf course about 20 minutes away from the hotel.

Do you have food alternatives for allergies?
Yes, please inform us when booking about your allergy. Our breakfast buffet is well marked for different allergies.
