Every day, our sauna masters invite you into a truly special experience. The aufguss ritual is a traditional ceremony where warm steam and essential oils fill the room with fragrance, warmth and stillness.
Through rhythmic fan movements and carefully selected music, the experience is enhanced, surrounding you with a sense of calm and presence. Each ritual has its own theme, and the scents work to either soothe, energize or cleanse. Within just a few minutes, the sauna is transformed into a sensory space where you can simply be – and forget everything outside.
You do not need to book in advance – just meet by the raft five minutes before the start. You are also welcome to complete the experience with a refreshing dip in the fjord.

Son Signature Aufguss
Our sauna masters’ own signature aufguss. Each experience is unique and shaped by the sauna master’s personal style, technique and choice of scents. Son Signature will therefore vary from day to day and from sauna master to sauna master, offering a new experience every time you participate.
The Scent Journey
An aromatic aufguss that takes you on a sensory journey through carefully selected essential oils and fragrances. The sauna master combines heat, steam and aromatic essences to create an experience that stimulates the senses and brings a feeling of wellbeing and calm.
Morning Calm Aufguss
A gentle and soothing aufguss – perfect for a calm start to the day. With warmth, soft steam and balanced essential oils, a relaxing atmosphere is created that helps the body awaken at its own pace and provides a sense of calm and wellbeing.
Awakening the Senses
An energizing aufguss designed to awaken the senses and bring new energy. Fresh essential oils are combined with varying heat and rhythmic fan movements from the sauna master, helping to increase focus, circulation and leave you with a refreshing feeling of renewed energy.
Steam and Scent in the Finnish Sauna
A classic sauna experience where the sauna master adds water and essential oils to the hot stove. This creates soothing steam that spreads warmth and pleasant aromas throughout the sauna, offering a relaxing and revitalizing experience for both body and mind.
