Vestby's coastal path takes you through idyllic and rural places like Hvitsten, Son, and Ramme Gaard. From Son Spa, you can walk in several directions, passing everything from small town life and forests to beaches and rocky outcrops. If you're up for a long hike, you can follow the path all the way to Hvitsten – and back again.

Parts of the coastal path – over steep cliffs in Emmerstad – have been made accessible by building a so-called Sherpa path. Sherpas from Nepal have constructed stairs and paths using only local stone and their traditional craftsmanship.
